In the second quarter of 2025, the top business apps on the Android platform in South Africa showed varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Microsoft Teams experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, beginning at 24.8K at the start of April and tapering to 18.8K by the end of June. Active users saw a peak of about 1.6M in mid-May before declining to 1.2M by the end of the quarter.

Indeed Job Search maintained a relatively stable download rate, averaging around 15.7K weekly downloads throughout the quarter. The app's active users showed a slight decline from 266K at the start to approximately 210K by the end of June.

Zoom Workplace saw steady revenue, with a peak of $1.5K in late May. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 20.4K in the last week of June. Active users increased significantly, peaking in late May at about 652K.

MyTelkom had a varied download pattern, starting with 22.5K downloads in early April and concluding with 11.4K at the end of June. Active users grew from 97K to a peak of 209K in late May before stabilizing around 184K.

Gocrypto: Crypto Trading experienced significant shifts, with downloads starting at 10.2K and dropping to 2.4K by the end of June. Active users saw an increase to 65.7K by early June, followed by a decline to 34.1K at the quarter's close.
